A detectable warning surface is installed where pedestrian pathways cross or adjoin vehicular ways without curbs or railings separating the areas. The continuous warning surface is thirty-six inches wide and finished in yellow conforming to Federal Color No. 33538 of Standard No. 595B. Individual domes measure zero point nine inches at the base, zero point four five inches at the top, and two inches in height, spaced two point three five inches apart. Exposed edges of the detectable warning tile feature a tapered profile.
