Adjacent concrete tilt-up panels meet at a stepped vertical joint featuring an eight-inch thickness transition. A continuous backer rod is installed at each face within the three-quarter-inch panel joint. Continuous sealant spans from the footing to the top of the panel on both the interior and exterior sides.
