A concrete truck apron features a medium broom finish and a tooled one-half-inch radius edge, transitioning adjacent to asphalt paving over aggregate base. The concrete slab includes a thickened edge extending nine inches minimum to the bottom of the base at natural grade. Natural grade or aggregate base is prepared per the soils report and structural drawings. Subgrade preparation and steel reinforcing requirements follow project soils specifications.
