A three-eighths inch epoxy terrazzo finish transitions to a sealed concrete floor slab at a door threshold. A Schluter Reno-U transition profile at the edge of the terrazzo provides a sloped edge to the concrete surface. The door frame centers over the transition point with equal spacing on either side of the centerline. The concrete structural slab serves as the substrate for both flooring materials, with the finished floor elevation aligned to the top of the terrazzo.
