Rectangular and triangular shrub spacing layouts are established relative to the edge of structure, pavement, or metal edging. Plant centers are dimensioned at typical intervals of x with boundary setbacks of half x from the edge. Triangular spacing utilizes staggered plant centers at a distance of 0.866 times x. Variable 'x' equals plant spacing, sized per planting plans and plant schedule.
