Suspended ceiling hanger wire is anchored to the underside of a concrete-filled metal deck using either a zero-point-one-five-seven-inch diameter shot-in anchor with one-and-one-quarter-inch embedment or a three-eighths-inch expansion anchor with two-inch embedment. The anchor attaches through a twelve-gauge by one-inch wide minimum ceiling clip positioned in the lower flute of the metal deck. The center line of the lower flute aligns with the anchor location with specific tolerances for maximum and minimum clearances.
