Typical flooring transitions occur at door thresholds centered beneath scheduled doors. The first condition connects resilient flooring to carpet through a scheduled transition strip, maintaining a maximum one-quarter-inch clearance. The second condition connects direct carpet-to-carpet aligned with the centerline of the door and carpet seams.
