This assembly consists of a steel guardrail with one-half inch diameter steel rod balusters spaced at a maximum of four inches on center. A toe plate is provided at the base of the guardrail. The handrail is positioned at a height of three feet, while the top of the guardrail is set at three feet six inches. All handrail terminations must connect to a vertical guardrail post where the handrail is supported by the guardrail system. A one and one-half inch clearance is maintained between the handrail and the guardrail components.
