This plan detail shows the connection between a glazed aluminum curtain wall mullion and an adjacent wall assembly type A541B. The edge of the gypsum board is painted black to maintain concealment at the glazing joint. A painted aluminum closure interfaces between the curtain wall mullion and the structural hollow structural section backing. Fasteners and shim spaces are provided as required for alignment and attachment.
