Roof drains and overflow drains are set into roof sheathing with rigid insulation and tapered insulation sloping toward the drains. A single-ply roof membrane runs over the rigid insulation and terminates at the drain assembly. A two-inch collar is provided at overflow drains only, separated from the standard roof drain by a minimum two-foot spacing.
