Changes in level at accessible thresholds must comply with building code requirements for vertical and beveled transitions. A vertical change in level up to one-quarter inch maximum is permitted without special treatment. Changes in level between one-quarter inch and one-half inch require a beveled edge with a slope not exceeding one-to-two.
