A single rabbet hollow metal frame is shimmed level and secured to the floor over scheduled flooring. Glass is set in sealant within the frame and held by an oversized metal stop set flush with the frame. Sealant is applied at both sides of the base where the frame meets the floor finish in the lobby or corridor and office spaces.
