A precast reinforced concrete wheel stop sits atop an asphaltic concrete paving surface over compacted aggregate base and natural grade. The wheel stop measures seven and one-half inches wide by five and one-half inches high, with an overall truckyard end-of-stall dimension of twelve inches. It is anchored with two number four reinforcing bars embedded eighteen inches minimum into natural grade and set flush with the top of the wheel stop, or alternatively installed with epoxy adhesive in lieu of rebar upon owner approval. The assembly adjoins a concrete curb and landscape area where applicable, with asphalt paving and aggregate base details governed by civil drawings.
