A typical ladder installation with a security cover occurs at both a concrete masonry unit wall condition and a metal stud wall condition. The ladder rungs and side brackets are secured using metal brackets fastened with sheet metal screws. Twelve-gauge galvanized sheet metal side covers are attached to the metal brackets on both sides to enclose the ladder. A security lock is provided where required and omitted at secured rooms.
