The assembly features an aluminum composite panel system installed over a weather resistive barrier membrane and five-eighths-inch Type X exterior sheathing. Tube steel framing, detailed per structural drawings, supports the hollow metal frame of the coiling door. A continuous backer rod and sealant joint seals the interface between the metal frame and the cladding. Galvanized sheet metal flashing with a drip edge finishes the perimeter.
