A wood door jamb and head condition intersects with a metal stud partition finished with five-eighths-inch interior gypsum board. The wooden door frame aligns with the wall finish and is shimmed with a quarter-inch wood shim as needed. A Z-metal reveal integrates at the frame edge to finish flush to the drywall edge. Floor material transitions locate directly under the door walk-opening unless otherwise noted.
