An HSS tube column penetrates the roof deck, sealed with a pre-fabricated square tube boot secured by a stainless steel clamping band and non-curing sealant at the top. The base of the boot is sealed to the roof deck with manufacturer-specified sealant and a one-and-a-half-inch minimum hot air weld positioned three feet minimum from the deck surface.
