Cold-formed steel framing interfaces with a concrete wall at stud and joist conditions. The stud condition features a Superior number 53 twentieth-gauge deflection track fastened to the concrete wall with zero-point-one-seven-seven-inch by one-and-one-half-inch long shot pins with metal washers spaced at twenty-four inches on center. A one-half-inch fill with caulking is applied on both sides, with gypsum board added as required per the floor plan. The joist condition secures a steel joist and track assembly to the concrete wall using zero-point-one-seven-seven-inch shot pins at twenty-four inches on center, with number ten screws connecting the track to each stud, a thirty-six-two-tee-eight continuous track, and caulking at the joint.
