A hollow metal frame is set within a cast-in-place concrete wall with a fire-resistive joint system at the frame head. Mineral wool board insulation fills the interior of the frame. Continuous fire-acoustical sealant is applied at the joints between the frame and the concrete wall on both sides. Dimensional callouts indicate specific clearances and maximum spacings for the installation.
