A grout-filled depression is anchored to a structural steel beam or hollow structural section using two 16-gauge Z-clips measuring 2 inches by 2 inches by 2 inches spaced at two feet on center. Two pads are positioned at two feet on center. Fillet welds of one-eighth inch with one-inch length are applied at an eight-inch maximum spacing to secure the assembly. Offset beam and hollow structural section configurations accommodate up to an eight-inch maximum offset dimension.
