The stair assembly features a C12x20.7 steel channel stringer supported at the base by a 3-inch by 3-inch by 1/4-inch steel angle, which is four inches long and secured with a 1/2-inch diameter expansion anchor on each side. The stair treads are finished with 6-inch by 36-inch Daltile Saddlebrook tile, while the 14-gauge metal risers are painted and feature a 2-inch safety yellow strip. Each tread provides an 11-inch run with a 1-inch nosing, and the riser height is limited to a 7-inch maximum. A 1-1/4-inch by 1-1/4-inch by 1/8-inch carrier angle supports the tread assembly from the stringer.
