This jamb assembly consists of a wood veneer panel (WD-7.1) edgebanded at ends unless otherwise noted, secured to a wall type per plan via a 1/2-inch wood cleat. A continuous 1/4-inch solid wood insert creates a reveal at the panel edge. The assembly terminates with a solid wood nosing at all exposed edges, finished to match the WD-7.1 veneer. The nosing is set 1/4-inch recessed from the panel face and projects 1/2-inch proud of the adjacent wall surface.
