For parallel flutes, the same brace connects using a TSN Stiff Clip LS or an L4x1-1/2x12 gauge angle with long leg vertical, secured with four total number ten sheet metal screws into the deck and three number ten sheet metal screws at the clip. The connection transfers lateral loads from the brace into the roof or floor diaphragm.
