This assembly consists of an exterior grade busduct cover plate secured over a wall opening. The plate is fastened to the wall substrate with a series of mechanical fasteners. A counter flashing is installed at the top edge of the plate to shed water. Sealant is applied at all fastener heads and around the entire perimeter of the cover plate to ensure a weather-tight seal. The dimensions of the wall opening are referenced to the project elevations.
