Two interlocking panels form a weather-tight joint utilizing a male and female edge profile. A quarter-inch uniform bead of butyl sealant is applied directly inside the female groove located on the warm side of the assembly to maintain vapor and air tightness. The interlocking geometry provides mechanical engagement across the joint interface.
