Two sections of twenty-four gauge clad edge metal are joined with a one-quarter inch gap, secured by galvanized ring shank screws at six inches on center in two staggered rows. A two-inch wide aluminum tape is applied over the joint, followed by thermoplastic flashing welded over the joint and extending four inches down the face.
