A painted hollow metal door frame is installed at the head of a metal stud partition framing assembly. The partition incorporates either five and three-quarters inch or eight and one-quarter inch metal studs spaced at six inches on center as specified per plan, faced with gypsum board. Continuous caulking is applied on both sides at the interface between the gypsum board and the hollow metal frame profile. Door material specifications are referenced on a separate sheet.
