This plan detail shows an Xtend mesh guardrail corner assembly at the edge of the floor slab. The assembly consists of three-quarter-inch by three-inch painted steel guardrail stanchions tied back with one-inch by three-quarter-inch stainless steel support bars fastened to the stanchion. Xtend mesh infill is tensioned around a one-half-inch diameter vertical stainless steel rod located at the radiused corner of the mesh line. The outside corner features a one-and-one-quarter-inch radius with a one-quarter-inch inner radius at the post return. Dimensions indicate spacings of one foot along the perimeter with variable conditions governed by the architectural floor plan.
