The window jamb condition of a window installed in an exterior wall assembly positions the window frame against the framed wall, with shims as required for proper alignment. The wall build-up consists of a masonry veneer with veneer mortar over a cement board backing, protected by a liquid-applied weather barrier. Exterior gypsum sheathing is applied over the structural framing, backed by one and one-half inches of continuous rigid insulation. The window unit itself is specified per the window types schedule.
