An interior demising partition terminates at the face of a cast-in-place concrete column with continuous non-structural metal framing. Gypsum board is installed on both sides of the framing and wrapped around the connection point, backed by acoustic blanket insulation within the cavity. Acoustical joint sealant is applied along the perimeter joints between the gypsum board and the concrete column to maintain sound isolation.
