The recessed key box is installed within a concrete panel wall using a dedicated recessed mounting kit. The assembly is secured to the concrete substrate with three-eighths inch fasteners. A continuous bead of sealant is applied around the perimeter of the mounting flange to ensure a weather-tight seal against the concrete face. The unit includes a door with a hinge and an integrated tamper alert system.
