A steel guardrail and handrail assembly is provided at a stair mid-landing, with the guardrail, handrail, stringer, and steel landing support furnished by the stair manufacturer. The stair treads are constructed per detail, connecting to the stringer. A strict clearance of less than four inches is maintained at the guardrail as typical. The steel landing connects to structural supports with specified dimensions including a six-inch spacing and three-foot height clearance.
