Butyl sealant is applied beneath the flange, and bonding adhesive secures the flashing membrane over the roofing system membrane. Rigid insulation with a minimum thickness of six inches slopes toward the drain. Fasteners including number fourteen by two-inch heavy-duty fasteners and Piranha plates are spaced at twelve inches on center.
