An exhaust louver with back draft damper and bird screen is installed within a wall opening and sealed with weathertight caulk. The louver unit includes filters per specifications and is secured into the wall using three-eighths-inch diameter by two-and-one-half-inch long bolts, placed two each at four sides typically. Shims are provided as required beneath the frame bearing on the concrete or masonry substrate.
