An adjustable height pipe support type PP10 with a roller rests on a traffic pad extending two inches on all sides over the roof assembly. A hot-air welded base flashing and aluminum tape seal the pipe penetration with a membrane cap at the top. The vapor retarder stops two inches from the top of the insulation to maintain separation from the roofing membrane and is sealed around the penetration with asphaltic mastic. Adjustable height pipe supports are spaced at a maximum of eight feet on center and at changes in direction or elevation.
