A reinforced concrete truck dolly pad bears on six inches of Class II aggregate base minimum over a lime-treated subgrade per the geotechnical report. The concrete slab features number three reinforcing bars placed at mid-slab eighteen inches on center each way with three inches of clear cover from the edges. Asphalt concrete paving transitions at the edges with the paving edge held one-eighth inch above the concrete on one side and one-eighth inch below the concrete on the opposing side. Contraction joints are installed every twelve point five feet on center perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, and construction joints are installed as required. The subgrade and subbase are graded to conform to the grading plan.
