The threshold and flashing assembly occurs at the face of existing walkways and passenger boarding bridges. The threshold fastens to the existing walkway on the unit side to remain free sliding and is trimmed as necessary. A full bed of sealant sits beneath the threshold, and all joints are caulked watertight all round. Interior flashing features a three-quarter-inch deep V-bend for drainage and rivets in place as required, extending approximately two inches beyond the sides. Exterior flashing utilizes a fabric-coated material secured at the underside.
