A metal stud wall features a metal stud header creating an opening for a dryer. The wall assembly includes five-eighths inch gypsum board on both sides and batt insulation. A continuous rubber gasket seal is installed at the head and sides of the opening per specifications section 11 21 73. Verify equipment height with the supplier; typical height is seven feet zero inches.
