A 1 1/2-inch square steel railing post is welded directly to a painted steel channel stringer supporting concrete-filled metal pan treads. A 1 1/2-inch diameter pipe handrail is attached to the vertical railing post using steel handrail brackets. The assembly includes a photoluminescent handrail strip mounted on the pipe handrail, square pickets, and horizontal 1 1/2-inch flat bars integrated into the guardrail frame.
