Suspended ceiling and compression strut attachments anchor to a structural concrete-fill metal deck using approved shot-in anchors or red-head eye bolts with load tests required. Wire pigtails feature a two-inch diameter loop and four-inch tail for deck attachment, while self-tapping screws are restricted to use prior to concrete pouring. Tube struts fasten to a one-and-a-half by one-and-a-half inch by thirteen-gauge by three-inch angle attached to the deck with approved shot pins, using slotted ends secured with number ten by two-inch sheet metal screws. Metal stud flanges are cut, bent ninety degrees, and attached directly to the overhead structure with approved shot-in anchors.
