An angled compression strut lateral bracing member connects to the main runner track using two one-half-inch diameter machine bolts, sized per schedule according to the kicker length. A twelve-gauge steel clip matching the stud width secures the lower end of the kicker to the partition framing with two number-ten self-tapping sheet metal screws at each end. A sizing schedule defines the required cold-formed steel stud profiles for lengths up to fourteen feet.
