The structural steel connection assembly at grid 9X incorporates beams sized per plan framing into a central node. A Rae base plate defined per detail 1/3.S-532 connects to a pin receiver plate per detail 2/3.S-532. Steel plates measuring 1/2 inch by 8 inches are attached in multiple locations with specific vertical spacings of 5 and 3/4 inches and 7 inches. The bottom surface of the base plate is designated with a TSC mark, and connection tabs are secured with threaded fasteners.
