The structural glass assembly connects at the jamb using structural glazing with spyder fittings, sealed on both interior and exterior sides with a continuous sealant bead and closed-cell backer rod. A waterproof barrier of Tyvek Commercial Wrap D is installed over five-eighths inch exterior gypsum sheathing. Batt insulation fills the cavity behind the wall buildup. Glass tile finishes are attached per details 17 through 20 on drawing A8.21.
