This assembly consists of a double metal stud jamb supporting a header composed of two continuous four-inch metal studs turned on edge and nested into a bottom runner track. The runner track flanges are extended one and five-eighths inches beyond the face of the jamb on each side and secured with three-quarter-inch low-profile number ten pan head sheet metal screws. The runner track web is cut at the flanges and bent up against the face of the stud, fastened with two three-quarter-inch number ten pan head sheet metal screws located one-half inch up from the web and three-quarters of an inch in from each end of the bent web.
