A custom PVC pipe boot fits over the roof penetration, sealed at the base to the surrounding PVC membrane with a welded seam and finished with PVC edge sealant. Mechanical fasteners secure the base flange to the roof deck. A galvanized metal counter flashing surrounds the upper portion of the boot, secured at the top by a continuous bead of sealant and a stainless steel draw band. Additional waterproofing is provided by QS tape, a welded splice, a T-joint, and a minimum eight-inch clearance height.
