A pipe penetration passes through a roof assembly consisting of a wood deck and one-quarter inch Dens-Deck cover board. A TPO membrane is adhered to the roof surface using bonding adhesive per the manufacturer requirements. A pre-molded TPO pipe flashing fits over the penetration, secured at the base with fasteners and heavy-duty seam plates with a welded splice. A continuous bead of TPO sealant is applied at the top of the flashing beneath a stainless steel clamping ring, with sealant applied between the pipe and flashing prior to installation. A continuous bead of adhesive or high-grade sealant seals the top of an optional field-fabricated metal hood.
