A roof penetration detail shows a mechanical pipe passing through a roof assembly per G-200. The penetration is wrapped with a premolded pipe flashing extending a minimum of twenty-four inches above the roof surface. A continuous vapor retarder seals tightly to the penetration at the underside of the roof assembly, and the penetration is insulated four feet below the roof panel per mechanical requirements. The pipe flashing is sealed directly to the roof membrane per the manufacturer's recommendations and secured at the top with a stainless steel clamp and mastic or sealant.
