The wall assembly is constructed with twenty gauge metal studs spaced sixteen inches on center, faced with five-eighths inch gypsum board on each side, and filled with R-thirteen sound insulation. The continuous metal channel runner at the floor slab is secured with point-driven anchors at twenty-four inches on center. The sill detail incorporates a base molding, finish flooring, and sealant at the base. Electrical and phone boxes are staggered on each side of the stud, with sealant placed between the box and gypsum board. The head condition extends twelve inches above the finished ceiling with a ceiling connection per the room finish schedule.
