A hollow metal door frame is anchored to a concrete masonry unit block wall with shims as required for proper alignment. Continuous sealant and backer rod seal the joint between the frame and the adjacent wall construction. Cement board and masonry veneer mortar back up the exterior masonry veneer, which is detailed per the exterior elevations.
