Elevator control panels feature raised numbers a minimum of five-eighths of an inch high with grade two braille typical throughout. Buttons measure three-quarters of an inch in diameter minimum with a three-eighths inch minimum separation, and a star symbol is placed next to the main exit floor number. The emergency telephone and international phone symbol are located below the control panel and coordinated with the elevator manufacturer. The centerline of the telephone and symbol is positioned between thirty-one and thirty-three inches maximum above finished floor with a one and one-half inch minimum support rail clearance. Floor buttons and control elements are restricted to a maximum of four feet above finished floor.
